ICY BEAUTY

This past weekend I grabbed my camera and took a walk in the frosty wonderland. It was so gorgeous. I snapped away.  I was so thrilled to find glistening spiderwebs which looked like they were made of crystal.

The flora and fauna were also crystalline and glimmered.  I loved the walk and discovery and how it all took my breath away!  I hope you all had similar experiences.

  10. I wish I could find words to describe these pictures. I often think people's statements are spiderwebbed with emotions. Truly your pictures are worth a thousand words.

  12. Beautiful shots!
I too ran out last week when we got snow and started snapping pics.
It's funny but blogging has made me take notice to more and more these days.
I tend to take things for granted sometimes and then, when not only bloggers inspire you -- I am always looking for something to post on, so everything
becomes a possible subject these days!
    :)

By the way, you mentioned your white ironstone pitcher had a little green stripe or ring on it? It may be a piece of restaurant ironstone. I have some of those pieces too. They are nearly indescructable, which is why restaurants and diners started using them too!

Thanks for coming by to comment!
    (Love those frozen webs)

  14. The spider webs are fantastic! I am trembling just looking at them - what size are the spiders that make webs that big? I have enjoyed your site and always enjoy our scrabble games - Ann (aka galkiwi)
