TRYING SOMETHING NEW

I have decided to try something new with my photographs.  I am not sure it will go over well or not, but I have made a few 5x7 photographs with quotes on them.  What do you think? Would anyone pay money for them?

I have made these in 5x7 size to test and see if people like them.
As a surprise for Brogan and Bella and their parents, I made these two:
I want feedback.

  1. I think they're wonderful, Rose! Yes, I believe people would pay money for them. On the one with the grass, I'd like to see a version with the quote using the whitish color of the sun. I think that would make for a striking image. I love that photo. Actually, all your photos are beautiful.

  2. Without a doubt you'd well Rose - perhaps most people have computers and the knowledge, but not everyone has the right equipment or imagination to have a professional end result. These are wonderful and yes, go for it - test the waters at a market?? or other places who would let you put a little stand with your cards in it. Cafes and coffee shops are a popular place for this very thing!
All the best in venture, I'm looking forward to some feedback down the track

  3. "Nature is the Art of God" is kind of hard to read. How about black letters instead? And how about a question mark on"What would you do if you knew you could not fail?"I love your photos, and the quotes are well matched. Good luck with the sales!

    The baby photos are splendid.

  4. You have done a great job...are you going to sell them in stores, or online?

I started at the nurseries...and then branched out to florists, and online...go for it.

  5. Are these just flat photographs? How about making them into cards?

  6. I agree with Elizabeth. If you made a stack of ten as cards I would pay $10.00. Am I too cheap? I love them all. I especially love the sleeping child with the belly tattoo. Have seen that pose often on my kids and grands. Will you have some available on Sunday?

  9. Your pictures are always amazing Rose. I think you picked the perfect quotes. Looks like something Hallmark would be interested in. You need to check into something like that. Wanted to pop in and say before we head for Spain in the morning. Hope all is well with you!

  10. Very nice Rose. I think these would make great note cards or as a journal, not so much for just prints IMO. I love having special notecards and I always am on the lookout for journals that are not just the ordinary, ho-hum kind. Your photos with quotes would be perfect for either one.

  11. I don't know if my comment is in moderation, it's disappeared. Anyhoo...these are just lovely Rose, you've done a great job. I think they would be wonderful as notecards, or for a journal, calendar...definitely worth $$. Good luck! :<)

  12. PS: I just noticed you are from Kansas. My dad was born near Collier (sp.) in Cloud County, lived most of his life in Canada though. He always loved the US most of all!
