TAKING A STROLL

A couple weekends I was antsy so decided to take a stroll on the campus here in Oregon City.  It is one of my favorite close-by hiking spots.  As usual, I took my camera and shot a few photos.  It seems there is a regular visitor to the gardens on campus. No, the deer do not bother the garden but a little furry creature does--
I was so surprised that he sat so perfectly still for me!  Good thing I have a good lens so do not need to be on top of him. His color looked different in shade and sun.
I also was lucky to get a few shots of birds. I am trying to get used to my new 200mm lens to do this.

I also shot some pictures of the plants in the start of a changing season.

Lovely day. Wonderful colors. Pleasant scents.

    1. So kind of you to say! I keep working at it and do sell my photos framed and unframed and on blank greeting cards. I sell the cards $10 for 8 cards. The money will go into an account for my niece's 5 yr old daughter. My niece died at 36 in August.

  6. The robin in the burning bush was really working his camera angles for you. And those milkweed seeds - you make them look quite mystical. I love it when you go for a walk.

  7. Lovely shots, Rose. You almost make me like fall. Almost and I'd like it more if only it weren't followed by winter.

    1. Yea, if winter comes without snow, I am happy. I can put up with rain.
