GOING OUT IN BEAUTY

Fall is a beautiful and colorful passing into the languid days of winter.  I have enjoyed the vibrant last days of fall.  November 11 I went for a peaceful stroll in Portland's Japanese Gardens.  It is lovely there.

As I walked through this thought provoking place, my memories of loved ones who have passed were roused and I kept thinking about how our lives are like the passing of seasons. Spring-the birth and youth; Summer-the passing of our years from youth through adulthood; Fall-our waning years; Winter-our final years and moving into death.  We have our seasons.
