SNIPPETS OF FALL

I have taken some more photographs of the slowly emerging colors of fall and want to share them here. Notice in the first shot the cows to the left and the geese to the right.
Along one road the trees were shining in colorful dress!
Gold, orange and green seem to be dominant.  Wish there were more reds!
Clouds wafted through the treetops.
See the cows in photo above right!!
Under some trees on campus I found thousands of these little uniquely shaped mushrooms.
They are very small!
We have a rare type of fir on campus and the raindrops looked wonderful on it.
I really liked the soft edged threatening clouds.
So that was my view cruise.
Next I am going to show you a few of the goodies I bought!!

  2. I absolutely love your pictures, Rose. You are an amazing photographer! I think my favorite over-all is the trees and the low clouds! But, I have to say that I love old barn pictures. I think that tractor was powered by a steam engine. It looked like it still might work. It’s very old and a real treasure. I’ve seen them at places like the “steam-up” down in Brooks every summer. I think it’s the last weekend in July and the first weekend in August. Very interesting place to go with a camera, if you are interested in old equipment. Now that I have my laptop hooked up, I can enjoy your blog again! Thanks so much for sharing! Helen

  3. Beautiful images. Those little mushrooms look like the paper drink umbrellas.

  4. Rose, honestly these photos are just beautiful. It's hard to pick a favourite but if I had to, it would be the clouds through treetops and the finally cloud one - absolutely gorgeous. I adore your fall, as I don't get one here in the tropics! The colours of your fall is magnificent.
