STILL IN LIMBO...

I am in a continual limbo right now still waiting for a closing date on the home I am buying.  Seems to be taking forever but I know it really has not been that long.  I am eager to find out a date I take possession as there are things I want to get done prior to actually moving all my furniture in.  I want to get it thoroughly cleaned, replace carpet, do some painting, and get my propane tank and stove put in.  I look at colors and am so drawn to turquoise ones. It is more bold than I have ever been!  I saw pictures of a diningroom with turquoise walls and white wainscoting and fell in love.  So many possibilities!  I also hope to build a "catio" for my two kitties to be able to safely enjoy some outdoor time.  I look forward to a day when I can have friends over, have a social gathering!
As I await the date, I dream, look at furniture for sale on Craigslist, look at ideas of decorating, look at colors...continual dreaming for now. Bear with me!

  1. Dreaming is so good. A fun thing to do is go down to Home Depot and look at paint colors. Bring home handfuls of paint chips and all the pamphlets on how to do fancy finishes. I like to make stencils of affirming words and sponge gloss over matt paint for subtle, subliminal encouragement.

  2. Being in limbo like makes your whole life feel up in the air, doesn't it? Hoping that it works out quickly for you. You will have a ball when you get in there. Happy dreaming meantime. xo Diana

  3. Dear Rose, hello dear friend. How nice to catch up with you! I remember well the photos of your previous home you shared and I was so impressed at your decor and beautifully presented home, so, I am so looking forward to seeing what decorating wonders you weave with your new home and the joy you will bring with you to this new chapter. It's all happening Rose!
