THE BEGINNING OF CHRISTMAS

I finished decorating my 5 1/2 ft. fake Christmas tree.  I have been sick so did a bit at a time over the past 4 days.  It is hard to tell from the photo, but it has white and pink lights on it.  The ornaments are all pinkish, some with roses on them, and ivory colored and turquoise.  Definitely says Rose!

Here are peeks at some of the ornaments:

The tree topper is one I made myself from plastic canvas and needlepoint on it with yarn.
I have made it for a couple other people as well.

I placed decorations under the tree. I painted the snowman on the left.

If I can get a better photo showing how the tree really looks with pink and white, I will post later.
Now on to the second tree, which is a skinny 6 ft tall!

  2. Hi Rose, I love your pretty tree with the pink and white lights. Lovely ornaments and the angel you created is so sweet. My mother used to do plastic canvas needlepoint too. Your snowman at the base is darling. You have made such a pretty Christmas display and your tree is gorgeous. Have fun with the skinny tree. Merry Christmas xo
