THE GROTTO IN PORTLAND, OR


December 6th I went with a friend to see the Christmas lights at the Grotto.
It was so beautiful all lit up!  I had such a great time and took photos to share.
A beautiful nativity scene.
The lights on this tree looked like they were raining down!
It was cold but we kept bundled and enjoyed the stroll. Inside the church we listened to two choirs sing.  Here is a photo of the area where they sang. Lovely painting!
Highly recommend visiting here! I hope to return in the spring and do the hike in the upper area!

    I remember visiting a Rock Grotto in Iowa when I was a kid and it was so beautiful and peaceful. It was in the spring so no lights. The photos you took were so beautiful. Loved the one of you and your friend. God Bless both of you with the Merriest of Christmas and New Year. Love Mom
