LINCOLN CITY AND THE BEACH

Earlier this month I went to the coast to Lincoln City with Randy and we had a nice walk along the beach. It was great to escape the smoky air in Oregon City from the surrounding fires.
Nice to listen to the waves...
See the far-off fog on the horizon...
observe and hear the birds and gulls.
Charlotte walked Randy around the beach.
Discovered several of these strange creatures on the sand and avoided them!
It was quite breezy at the beach so I borrowed a jacket from Randy.
We also saw a mama deer with two fawns!
I was so excited to see the little fawns, still with their spots!  I did not get a photo with all three together as they did not stand so close together for that.
Then they were startled by people passing by and ran--rather hopped--away!!
Such a cool sighting though.

  6. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea syell annd gave it to my 4 year olld daughter and
said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear."
She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a
hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants tto go back!
LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to
    tell someone!

We have two sets of twins that come on our property each evening to drink from the creek. Their spots are still on them as well. Oooohhh they are cute!!
