ESCAPE!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, Easter Sunday, Randy took me out for a drive, an escape from the boundaries of a house!
We ended up spending a little time at Mt Angel Abbey to take a few photos. Many people were walking around so we did not.  They have prayer stations along a walk to stop and pray.
They have a great view of Mt. Hood from the abbey.
The town of Mt. Angel, OR, was nice and no one around.
I got to get out and walk a bit. We discovered a big clock tower and found a maypole!
I took photos to show you all.
Thought this sign was funny! It was for a tavern.
This is the fountain!
Here is the maypole.
Murals in Mt. Angel, OR
Loved the ironwork I would see there!

Found an area called Monitor, OR, The name comes from the ship of the Monitor and Merrimack battle in civil war times.
One of the many murals in Silverton, OR as we drove through.
Which way do we go???
That was our adventure.
How are you all escaping???

  1. Oregon has the most beautiful cities and places! We loved 3 Sisters & Joseph, but this town is spectacular, like a German village. I'll have to escape anothertime. They asked us not to even Ship last week or this week, and it's been dismal & rainy except for one day last week. They're "promising" 3 days of sun starting Tuesday. More rain in April in our area in more than 2 decades! At least we're warm & safe!
