Back on June 24th I visited the local little aquarium to see if I could get photos of creatures behind that aquarium glass. It took quite a lot of shots from many various angles to get a few good ones. Also trying to get shots eluding the children and adults was not easy, but here they are!
So, how did I do?
Oh my! what a colour delight Rose! You did famously and you've motivated me to visit our tropic aquarium very soon. I'm hoping my little CAM will do justice to these mag photos you've captured!
ReplyDeleteYou did very well. I've heard that you can buy a adapter that allows the camera lens to rest on a piece of rubber against the glass...might be something to create for yourself cheaper....a rubber ring? But you did great.

absolutely amazing work, it's my aquarium and I love to see other people enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! ! !
ReplyDeleteI've visited many aquariums and have never seen the real thing look this good! LOL!
Have you looked into - I think it's called - I-Stock Photo? I believe it's a place where photographers can upload their photos for others to buy and use.
It is a nice little aquarium. I took the grands there and we had fun. I took some there as well. I also have been to the Scripps Aquarium in San Diego several times and have a nice bunch of pictures. Fascinating sea creatures aren't they. I loved the dragon sea horses at Scripps. Amazing creatures.
ReplyDeleteYou totally rock. These photos are stunning!.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are amazing!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, Rose. I love aquariums but one of the thrills of my life was to see a Lion Fish in the wild in the Cook Islands. Dangerous but beautiful. Didn't realize Portland had such a splendid aquarium. As an Oregon buff I must bear that in mind next time I'm in your lovely state.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful world it is, Rose!
