Here it is, my photograph on the front of the holiday card for Clackamas Community College as their holiday card this year. Some of you may recall the photograph they chose of mine last year (red berries covered in hoarfrost). This photograph is one I took of a section of my bench (once turquoise) in the back area of my property. It was a day of frost and webs were covered and created lace against the wood. The poem was written by one of the teachers.
Congratulations Rose! Your photo is gorgeous and I love when the hoar first touches every fibre in nature, including the cob webs. I love the hint of turquoise showing in the wood too. Have a wonderful Christmas. Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! Your eye for beauty is such a gift.
ReplyDeleteThose frost crystals look amazing! It's a pity you couldn't take a picture at 100x magnification to see the close range patterns.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations yet again, Rose. You have such an eye for beauty in all its forms. :-) The poem is also beautiful. Together they make for an iconic Christmas card!
