THE 80TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

I had posted a little bit on my mothers surprise party for her 80th birthday, and now here are more photos from the event. Mom was very surprised.

 

 

She moved through the room seeing everyone, and would cast a glance my way occasionally. I was half hidden behind a small wall, wearing a funny hat borrowed from the photo booth, and had the camera in front of my face, so she could not see who I was.

 Eventually she got close to me and asked, "Who is that hiding there behind the camera?"

I finally dropped the camera and let her see me.  She was so surprised to find out I had flown in for the party.
