She moved through the room seeing everyone, and would cast a glance my way occasionally. I was half hidden behind a small wall, wearing a funny hat borrowed from the photo booth, and had the camera in front of my face, so she could not see who I was.
Eventually she got close to me and asked, "Who is that hiding there behind the camera?"
I finally dropped the camera and let her see me. She was so surprised to find out I had flown in for the party.
This is my dad (84) with his great-grandson, Nate.
This is my nephew, Brian, with his wife, Jaime, and son, Nate, and daughter, Eva.
My niece, Vanessa (who did most all of the work for the party), with her husband, Luis and kids Logan & Viviana.
My nephew, Nicholas, with wife Aimee and son, Rory.
My dad with granddaughter, Vanessa, on left, and granddaughter, Heather, on right.
They are sisters.
Here are some of the family. A few had left prior to taking this photograph.
My brother, Jim, is lower right with his wife, Cindy, just behind him.
As you can see, it was a very nice birthday celebration.
I have many more photos, but will not force you to see them all!
Glad you all had a good time at your mother's 80th!
ReplyDeleteThank you. Love love, Andrew. Bye.
