EVERYTHING OLD IS NEW AGAIN
I have an old oak barristers bookcase that I have had for years and it was very dark stained and did not seem to fit in anymore though I liked it with its glass doors. So my friend Stephanie, who paints furniture, gave her a face lift and make her new! Here is how she looks now!
Before with the dark, dark wood she looked so heavy and large and bulky, but not anymore. Stephanie used a lace tablecloth with roses on it to create the backdrop. She painted through the lace and it created a wonderful effect! I adore how it looks.
