STILL ENJOYING THE GARDEN

My garden is still so colorful and lovely.  I know it is fall, but it is hanging in there.  Our weather has become cold and rainy off and on, so it has affected my recovery. The cold has caused my legs to be in lots of pain because of the arthritis, and makes it very difficult to do my physical therapy exercises at home as leg is so stiff.  It has also slowed my movement.  Looking out at the garden through the windows makes me think God is giving me a "thinking of you" card. The pain is so difficult to deal with and does make me feel down.  Right now the garden is my sunshine in otherwise difficult days.
Here is what I enjoy.

In our daily lives we often forget to notice the beauty God provides in our lives.
Being laid up has kept me from much activity, so the views from my windows are so greatly appreciated by me.
I hope they make you stop, look, and appreciate.

  2. WOW Rose, you have so much beauty to still enjoy, so many wonderful colors, most definitely a 'thinking of you' card from God.

Keep doing your therapy exercises even when it hurts like heck. I had to go through painful therapy and did a lot of crying during that time. If you don't do the exercises, you will stay stiff. You must exercise to become limber again. You CAN do it, I know you can. With God, all things are possible, and He is your strength when you are weak.

Thanks for sharing the beauty in your fall gardens. Have a great week and be well ~ FlowerLady

  6. It is amazing how much your garden has grown and blossomed since this time last year when we visited! Your own private park to enjoy.

I never recover as quickly as I expect to, or as many others do, after any surgery. The progress may be slow, but "this, too, shall pass." May you gain some relief from your pain very soon. Lynnette

  9. Sweet Rose, I'm so glad that your garden is there to cheer you when you are having a down day! I pray that your pain will subside and you may gain more movement. Your garden is just lovely! I have a bit of color, but it's really slowed down and I have been cutting back like a banji. Getting ready to put it to rest for winter.
    hugs,
    Jann
