LIGHT UP A LIFE

Last night I attended a special memorial service put on by Providence Willamette Falls in the Oregon City Shopping Center to honor and remember those we have loved and lost.  It was a lovely event.  The tree was up and covered with many white hearts that were labeled with the names of those loved ones.  Each of us there received a red heart to add to the tree when your loved ones name is called.
The choir from Oregon City High School performed, singing beautifully!  The lights of the tree were turned on when all the red memorial hearts have been added.  It was a wonderfully touching event.
This was my first time at this event and I am happy to have gone.
When the carolers sang, I knew Clay would have loved it.
He was big on Christmas songs!
