Last weekend I was feeling the need to go somewhere beautiful and be close to God and all the beauty he provides. I am usually pretty good about it, but with so much loss the past few weeks, I had forgotten to do so. Off I went to the Dahlia Festival at Swan Island Dahlias in Canby, OR. As soon as I began walking in the colorful gardens, I felt myself drawn into the beauty and smiled. Thank you, God. Enjoy the walk and the beauty, and remember the joys in life.
So much beauty created to enhance our lives.
We must never forget to notice it, to enjoy it, to share it, and to be thankful for it.
Bless you all!
The variety of form and color is just awe-inspiring. I want to get out my colored pencils and take the time to draw some of your photos because they are so beautiful.
