Here is a second part of my civil war reenactment experience. I had so many photographs from being there but no one wants to sit through over 500 of them! So a few to give you the feel of the event.
I hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!
I love hearing from you all!
Thoroughly enjoyed viewing all the photos. Brings the research I've done back to life. Thanks! Alice
ReplyDeleteThe sepia tones really make this vintage! You are so good at this. I love the little drummer boy with his blanket roll!

Rose I've been meaning to say and I wholeheartedly agree with the above two commenters - these photos you've taken really are quite brilliant, but you've also captured the atmosphere beautifully as well. Really Rose, well done.

Wonderful shots that really capture the atmosphere.
ReplyDeleteRose you took these? Seriously you have a knack for portraiture. Keep this up, you have some real gems in there..
ReplyDeleteHave you thought of trying some of the effects from Pic Monkey to give your images a different look also?

I feel as if I've entered a time machine! A couple of excellent beards and one of those buxom ladies could have been Mrs Lincoln.
ReplyDeleteUnbelievable awesome photos. Really enjoyed looking at these!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!! Love the sepia tones :)
