A couple weekends I was antsy so decided to take a stroll on the campus here in Oregon City. It is one of my favorite close-by hiking spots. As usual, I took my camera and shot a few photos. It seems there is a regular visitor to the gardens on campus. No, the deer do not bother the garden but a little furry creature does--
I was so surprised that he sat so perfectly still for me! Good thing I have a good lens so do not need to be on top of him. His color looked different in shade and sun.
I also was lucky to get a few shots of birds. I am trying to get used to my new 200mm lens to do this.
I also shot some pictures of the plants in the start of a changing season.
Lovely day. Wonderful colors. Pleasant scents.
Fall is such a great time to be out with the camera. I love what you have captured, there is such detail in your shots.

DeleteThose are professional grade nature photographs.
ReplyDeleteSo kind of you to say! I keep working at it and do sell my photos framed and unframed and on blank greeting cards. I sell the cards $10 for 8 cards. The money will go into an account for my niece's 5 yr old daughter. My niece died at 36 in August.
DeleteThe robin in the burning bush was really working his camera angles for you. And those milkweed seeds - you make them look quite mystical. I love it when you go for a walk.
ReplyDeleteThank you Roxie!
DeleteLovely shots, Rose. You almost make me like fall. Almost and I'd like it more if only it weren't followed by winter.
ReplyDeleteYea, if winter comes without snow, I am happy. I can put up with rain.
