EXPERIMENTING

I have been experimenting with my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 program.  It does not do the amazing effects like iPhone app 'Waterlogue' that my friend, Pam, of the blog Playing with my Camera displayed on her web page, but it is fun.

The two above are colored pencil sketch style.
I enjoy the effects. Here are more...

These above are also colored pencil style. You can change pencil width, pressure and more to create different looks.

This effect is called neon glow.  It is very different and does not work well with everything. Interesting.
This above effect is called sponge.
All of the following are done in watercolor effect.  Makes them look like paintings!

So, what do you all think??
Are they unique?  Would you hang any up in your home??

  1. As I was looking at these I thought, "You can get your photos printed on canvas and these would make great wall art!" Would I hang them in my home? I don't have a lot of wall space left, but if I did, Oh yeah!

  3. Your pictures are fascinating! If we lived nearby, I would hire you as my tutor to learn how to get the most from my computer, especially involving my pictures, which are stuck in here with no place to go. I have no idea how to use my Photo Shop to advantage, either. I am forever amazed with the number of creative talents you have! Lynette

  5. Nicely done! And yes, if I had a man cave I would hange some of your photos. My wife makes all artistic choices in my house and anything I like is automatically discounted.

  6. Great work, Rose! Looking at those pictures is like a psychedelic experience and a lot safer than an acid trip!

  7. I absolutely WOULD hang these in my home. They're gorgeous, and because production is cheap, you could swap them out with the seasons!

  8. I can't achieve anything like these beauties with my little programme, but then I don't have the natural talent or artistic skills that you do with images Rose. Of course they'd look just the bees knees on my wall!

  16. I love what you've done with the pictures, Rose. I had PhotoShop for a few years--too expensive now. It's so much fun. Thanks for sharing. Sue
