I found this little fellow by following his song. He was so happy and just sang away! I had my 200 mm lens so was able to avoid getting too close where he might be frightened away.
He had such a lovely voice. I have no idea what kind of bird he is (Pat?).
Then this little guy caught my eye on another fence.
I think this one is a slightly larger version of the above. The fence is capped in copper and I was surprised he could stand so well on it!
Then I visited the horses...
This cutie loved to pose and get her nose rubbed.
Her buddy joined to get his photo taken as well.
Horses always looked so graceful and lovely to me.
So that was my brief nature walk!
Love those little birdies. And horsies

ReplyDeleteThe first one is a white crowned sparrow, and the second one a song sparrow.
Beautiful pictures, as always. Beth M.
Beautiful shots of some of my favorite animals.

Birds, no bees, horses and beauty.

Such lovely shots of both birds and horses!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful sparrows (at least that's what they look like!) and what beautiful horses :-)
ReplyDeleteOh Rose, these bird pictures are so pretty. You know, bird watching is one of my favorite things to do. And these horses - they are gorgeous! I always wanted a horse when I was growing up. It's so nice to see that you take time out for nature too.

Rose, my brother-in-law lives in Oregon, and he'll never move, he loves it so. He sends me pictures of all of Oregon's beauty, and some of them are of the wildlife there. I really enjoy each and every one of them.

Brief, but beautiful! That first bird photo is fabulous and I love the horses! I don't know why, but I am not getting e-mail notifications when you do a post like I use to.
