I am so thankful for everyone's prayers for my mother. She got through the surgery fine and said she has not had much pain at all. She was diagnosed as Stage 2, and after going over her medical information and considering her age, the oncologist decided to not do chemo or radiation and felt she was a good candidate to take a fairly new treatment. She will take a pill called Anastrozole once a day for five years. Of course, she will be constantly checked by the oncologist to make sure it is working. So far she has not had the side effects listed and says she feels fine. There are numerous side effects that could happen and I am glad to hear that she has not had these ill effects so far. Thank you for praying for her and continue to do so!
I am saying a prayer for your Mom that the treatment works for her. How wonderful that she is not having the side effects they say are possible. Blessings to her and YOU as you walk this path with her. xo Diana

Sounds like good news for your mom. I hope and pray that she continues to improve every day.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose,
ReplyDeleteThat is good news for your mom. It is always best to catch it early. Many prayers for good recovery!
I love your chairs!! Are you going to paint them? I could see the detail pop out with some dark wax added if the chairs were white. But I love wood and find it hard to paint things.
And your wainscotting.....gorgeous!! The blue color is so serene with the white.
Thanks for visitng me. We have actually discussed moving to Oregon. Where do you live in Oregon? We have family
in Portland.
Big hugs,
Becky
