We spent one of our days leisurely driving and walking around the Metolius River area in Central Oregon not far from Bend. Here are a few photographs taken there.
It was so peaceful and lovely there. We had a couple chipmunks that decided to follow us in hopes for food. They came up very close. The little hike was nice.
Enjoy the photographs.
Loved your photos as usual. Isn’t the bark on the Ponderosa Pine to die for? I really like the cinnamon color in the bark as the trees mature.
ReplyDeleteYour little hiking companions (Golden Mantle ground squirrels—not chipmunks) are so cute. Beth M
