I have been feeling down and many of you know why. Crying, frightened, worried and physically ill. Randy and my dearest friend, Sue, said to get out to nature. They know how healing it can be for me. So Randy took me out to eat at the Oregon Gardens and to slowly stroll and enjoy. It is not busy now and was so peaceful. I want to share this with you all. Maybe it will bring you a little peace and comfort.
Randy made me laugh.
My little day of escape from the sadness.
Beautiful pictures! I hope you’re feeling better but I sure understand your sadness! It’s hitting many right now but let’s hope and pray for intervention. I love you, Sis!
ReplyDeleteRose you are a joy! I too wandered around in my grief which was rattling around in fear, feeling broken. I visited the Japanese Gardens, glowing with color, and soaked myself in that magic. You remind me that mending what is broken comes to us as our responsibility with every stitch, , every rhyme or word,, as long as it is crafted in goodness and love. .
ReplyDeleteThose are absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Kathy G

Getting outdoors has been healing for me this week too. We still have much to be thankful for as Oregonians. And thank you, Rose, for sharing the color and playfulness of the Oregon Gardens.
