CIVIL WAR 2013

Last weekend on Sept 21 I went to a Civil War Reenactment at Milo McIver State Park.  I have attended the living history events several times and always find them fun to photograph.  The people who are the reenactors sure do get into this, living, eating dressing and talking as if back in the civil war times.  I took about 800 photographs and in editing them, turned them from color to sepia tone as I felt that was more apropos.  Needless to say, I cannot post all of them here on my blog, so sharing some of what I think are the best.  I hope you enjoy them!

I think I will post photographs of the civilians and such in the next pot I do, so keep an eye out.
What do you think of the photographs?
I would love to hear.

  1. On a personal note I get uncomfortable around Confederate reenactors here in South Carolina. For many, if not most, there interest revolves around "The Lost Cause." They tend to overlook the injustice and inhumanity of slavery.
